As a teacher, a father, and the son of working people, Logan understands the struggles families face every day. He’s fighting to restore dignity to work, strengthen our communities, and give every family a fair shot at the American Dream.
Every family deserves a fair shot at staying healthy without going broke. Healthcare should be affordable, reliable, and close to home: not something only the wealthy can count on. When you’re sick or your kid needs a doctor, you shouldn’t have to drive an hour or empty your savings to get help.
Too many working families are being crushed by medical bills. One in five people in our district depends on Medicaid or CHIP, and nearly half of those are little kids. Even with insurance, folks are drowning in costs and limited options.
Indiana’s small-town hospitals are struggling. When rural hospitals close, it doesn’t just mean longer drives to the ER: it means jobs lost, families leaving town, and communities falling apart.
Make healthcare affordable and local. Protect what’s working, fix what’s broken, and keep care in our communities. Focus on prevention and affordability instead of red tape and middlemen.
For working- and middle-class families, I’ll create a Public Choice Option — a simple, affordable plan that puts people first.
● Available to anyone earning up to 600% of their area’s poverty line (based on Adjusted Gross Income).
● Premiums are capped at 5% of household income, making care affordable and predictable.
● The plan provides high-quality coverage at low cost, giving families peace of mind.
● Families can keep their private insurance if they want, but this new option will force insurance companies to compete and lower prices for everyone.
Southern Indiana deserves good jobs, strong roads, and internet that actually works. When we invest in our own people and places, we don’t just grow the economy — we build stronger families and communities.
Costs are up and wages aren’t keeping pace. Too many folks work hard and still can’t get ahead because small towns have been left behind.
Since the days of the interstate system, America has prospered when it invested in itself. Good roads, clean water, and high-speed internet are the foundation for local business and opportunity.
Rebuild our infrastructure and create good-paying jobs that support families. Invest in local talent and local industry.
Every American deserves to know their vote counts and their elections are secure. We can protect our democracy while making voting simple and accessible for every eligible citizen.
People are losing faith in elections because of misinformation and political games. Some politicians try to make it harder to vote, while others stir up distrust for their own gain.
Courts across the country found no evidence of widespread voter fraud in 2020. But millions of voters still doubt the system.
Keep elections fair, transparent, and accountable. Make it easier to vote and harder to cheat.
No one who works full-time should live in poverty. Hoosiers don’t want handouts — they want a fair chance to work, raise a family, and get ahead.
Families are stretched thin by housing, childcare, and medical costs. Most aren’t looking for help, just a fair shake and the ability to provide for their kids.
Housing prices have doubled while wages stay flat. Childcare costs more than college. Families are drowning in bills for everyday needs.
Make life affordable again: from housing and childcare to healthcare and education. Reward hard work and strengthen families.
Our veterans served their country. Now it’s our turn to serve them.
Delays and budget cuts at the VA keep veterans waiting for care and benefits they earned.
Veterans shouldn’t have to fight through red tape to get the healthcare, housing, and education benefits they deserve.
Cut bureaucracy and fully fund veteran services.
We can protect our borders and stay true to our values. A strong border and a fair system go hand-in-hand.
The system is broken. Border agents are overwhelmed, and millions of cases are stuck waiting years to be heard.
We have around 600 immigration judges for over 3 million pending cases. That’s not secure or fair.
Focus on stopping dangerous traffickers and criminals while treating families and asylum seekers with dignity.
America is safest when it leads with strength, consistency, and respect. We should defend our interests abroad while taking care of our people at home.
For too long, our foreign policy has swung between isolation and endless wars. Both approaches hurt working families and weaken our standing in the world.
Alliances like NATO and partnerships around the world keep America safer and create jobs through trade.
Lead with diplomacy, defend our allies, and invest in American workers here at home.
The government should work for the people — not for politicians, lobbyists, or special interests.
Too many politicians use their office to get rich or cling to power. Americans are tired of backroom deals and double standards.
When trust in government fails, democracy weakens. Accountability isn’t partisan — it’s patriotic.
End insider deals, limit terms, and restore public trust.
Every kid deserves a fair start, and every adult deserves a fair shot at a good job. Education should open doors – not bury people in debt.
Our schools are underfunded, teachers underpaid, and students left without the skills they need to succeed.
College isn’t the only path. Skilled trades, technology, and healthcare jobs can support families and strengthen our communities.
Invest in our kids and prepare them for the real world.
Caring for the land is part of who we are. We can protect our air and water while creating jobs that last.
Pollution and neglect are hurting our farms, forests, and rivers. Climate change isn’t a theory — it’s the floods, droughts, and storms we face every year.
Healthy soil, clean water, and strong conservation programs protect both our farms and our future.
Take care of the land God gave us while keeping energy affordable and jobs local.
Strong families and safe communities go hand in hand. Every Hoosier deserves to feel safe where they live and work.
Crime, drugs, and violence make too many neighborhoods unsafe, while first responders are stretched thin.
Public safety is about more than police — it’s healthcare, emergency services, and disaster response. We need to support all of them.
Back our law enforcement, strengthen local response teams, and promote personal responsibility and community respect.
“As a teacher, a father, and a neighbor, I see these challenges every day. We can overcome most of them with plain old common sense. It ain’t that hard, folks. If you elect me to Congress, I promise to work with you to tackle the problems faced by the people of the 9th District.”
JAMES LOGAN
Too many families are working harder than ever and still coming home with too little. The dream has been deferred, but it’s not lost. Together, we can build a future where every child has hope, every worker has dignity, and every family gets a fair shot.
